It was launched on April 22, 2003, by Blackground Information and Common Information. The album’s title was chosen by her brother Rashad Haughton and mom Diane Haughton, and it options visitor appearances from rappers Missy Elliott, Snoop Dogg, and DMX.
The album obtained usually constructive evaluations from music critics, who praised Aaliyah’s vocals and the album’s manufacturing. It debuted at primary on the US Billboard 200 chart, and has been licensed platinum by the Recording Business Affiliation of America (RIAA).
