Texas is eliminating most automobile security inspections beginning January 2025. Which means drivers in Texas will now not be required to get their autos inspected yearly. This variation is predicted to avoid wasting drivers money and time.
The choice to eradicate automobile security inspections was made by the Texas Legislature in 2021. The regulation that eradicated the inspections was signed by Governor Greg Abbott in June 2021. The regulation goes into impact on January 1, 2025.
