The WCC Basketball Event is an annual postseason males’s and ladies’s basketball event for the West Coast Convention (WCC). The event is held in early March, with the winners receiving automated bids to the NCAA Event.
The WCC Basketball Event was first held in 1987. The lads’s event was received by the College of San Diego, and the ladies’s event was received by the College of Santa Clara. The event has been held at varied areas through the years, together with the Orleans Enviornment in Las Vegas, Nevada, and the Spokane Enviornment in Spokane, Washington. The event is at present held on the Orleans Enviornment.
